... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until noon CST Sunday...

* short term trends... periods of light snow will continue this
afternoon though may end at times. Additional accumulations this
afternoon will be an inch or less. Expect the snow to increase
again overnight.

* Storm total snow accumulations... total accumulations for the
event will range from 2 to 6 inches with the greatest amounts
north and lesser amounts south.

* Winds/visibility... southeast winds 10 to 15 mph will increase
overnight into the 15 to 20 mph range with gusts near 25 mph.
Visibilities will be reduced to less than one half mile at
times.

* Impacts... the primary impacts will be very hazardous travel
conditions due to reduced visibility and snow covered and icy
roads.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities and use caution while
driving.
