today...

* periods of lake effect snow showers will persist through this morning.

* The heaviest snowfall rates will occur across northwest
sections of Chippewa County... especially near Whitefish Point
and Paradise.

* Where snow showers persist... total snow accumulations today of
3 to 6 inches is expected... with locally higher amounts
possible.

* Look for greatly reduced visibilities at times.
