Issued: 7:33 PM EDT Jul. 30, 2016 – National Weather Service

... The Flood Advisory remains in effect until 945 PM EDT for Lenawee
County...

At 727 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
National Weather Service radar estimates suggest to three inches of
rain have already fallen south of Adrian near Fairfield. Additional
pockets of one to two inches of rain have also fallen further north
from Tipton to between Tecumseh and Adrian.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Adrian... Tecumseh... Blissfield... Morenci... Clinton... Hudson...
Onsted... Deerfield... Addison... Britton... Cement City... Clayton...
Rollin... Palmyra... Fairfield... Springville... Ridgeway... Macon...
Riga and Seneca.

While the heaviest rainfall south of Adrian has shifted south of the
County... thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall continue to meander
over northern portions of the County. Expect additional rainfall of
one to two inches in localized spots through 9 PM.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams... country roads... farmland... and other low lying
spots.
