afternoon...

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana has issued a
Winter Storm Watch for lake effect snow and blowing snow... which
is in effect from late tonight through Friday afternoon.

Hazardous weather...

* lake effect snow showers with blowing and drifting snow.

* Snow accumulations generally 5 to 8 inches by late Friday.

Impacts...

* blowing and drifting snow will cause hazardous driving
   conditions on snow covered and slippery roads especially from
   Thursday afternoon into Friday morning.

* The Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes may be
   difficult.
