Cold winter weather on the way...

Cooler air is moving onto the South Coast tonight bringing rain
showers or flurries for tonight and Monday. With temperatures
falling close to the freezing mark, local snowfall accumulations are
possible especially inland and over higher terrain.

Temperatures will continue to drop and skies will clear Monday night
as the Arctic front reaches the coast. Temperatures will fall 5 to
10 degrees below normal with overnight lows ranging from zero to
minus 5 through Wednesday night.

On Thursday, a strong incoming frontal system will likely bring more
significant snowfall.

The public is encouraged to prepare for wintery conditions. Stay
tuned to the latest forecasts, warnings and updates.
