Special Weather Statement issued by Environment.  08:31 AM PDT Tuesday 23 May 2017.
Strong gusty winds over the South Coast tonight.

A strong cold front will move across the South Coast early this evening bringing strong winds. Westerly winds gusting to 70 km/h can be expected over exposed coastal sections behind the front. These winds will ease overnight as the front moves into the Interior.  Temperatures will also drop in the wake of the cold front.
