A Flood Warning continues for
Tittabawassee river from Midland downstream into Saginaw.
* From now until further notice.
* At 6 PM Saturday the stage is 32.1 feet and at crest.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring.
* Forecast... the river crested at 32.1 feet at 6 PM Saturday
and should fall below flood stage early Monday morning.

Issued: 5:16 PM EDT Jun. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has extended the

* flood advisory for...
southern Midland County in southeastern Michigan...

* until 845 PM EDT

* at 415 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain in
southwestern Midland County due to thunderstorms. Runoff will
cause additional minor flooding. Up to two inches of rain has been
observed.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Midland, Oil City, Pleasant Valley, LaPorte, Gordonville, Porter
township and Poseyville.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
