Special Statement
Issued: 12:58 PM EST Dec. 8, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Bursts of heavier snow showers this afternoon...

Lake effect snow showers will continue to track across Southeast
Michigan this afternoon. Through 4 PM... the coverage of snow
showers will be greatest between the M-59 and I-94 corridor. The
potential exists for bursts of heavier snow showers... particularly
across this corridor. Any heavier bursts may result in a quick
accumulation of light snow on area roads. In addition... reduction
of visibility below 1 mile will be possible. Motorists should
remain aware of possible changes in driving conditions this
afternoon.
