The National Weather Service in Seattle has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 11 am this morning to 11 PM PDT
this evening.

* Wind... westerly winds will increase this afternoon to 20 to 35
mph and continue into this evening with gusts up to 50 mph
possible.

* Some affected locations... Port Townsend... Port Angeles and
Friday Harbor.

* Timing... winds are expected to increase during the afternoon
hours before diminishing by midnight tonight

* impacts... winds of this strength can break branches off of
trees... topple weakened trees and produce local power outages.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
