The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the East Fork White River at Williams.
* From Friday may 05 to Saturday may 06.
* At 7:03 am Friday the stage was 1.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river is expected to rise to near flood stage early
Friday morning.
* At 8.0 feet... flood stage at Williams. Bottomlands are beginning to
flood. Stumphole Road... South Chase Riffle Road and possibly other
rural County roads in western Lawrence County flood.

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the East Fork White River near Rivervale.
* From late Tuesday night to Sunday may 07.
* At 12:30 PM Friday the stage was 6.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early Wednesday morning and
continue to rise to near 22.1 feet by early Friday morning. The
river will fall below flood stage by early Sunday morning.
* At 22.0 feet... a few local County roads begin to flood and are
impassable. These include Buddha Road south of the gage and
Lawrenceport Road. All local roads across the East Fork of the
White River are threatened by high water, and some are closed.
Flooding of agricultural lands in Lawrence County is in progress.

Saturday morning...

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of central Indiana, south
central Indiana, southeast Indiana, and southwest Indiana,
including the following areas, in central Indiana, Bartholomew
and Decatur. In south central Indiana, Brown, Jackson,
Lawrence, and Monroe. In southeast Indiana, Jennings. In
southwest Indiana, Daviess, Greene, Knox, Martin, and
Sullivan.

* From 8 PM EDT this evening through Saturday morning

* multiple rounds of thunderstorms are expected late afternoon
through Saturday morning. Several inches of rain are possible
over all or parts of the watch area.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
