Issued: 8:53 PM EDT Jul. 27, 2017 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a

* flood advisory for...
Orange County in south central Indiana...

* until 1145 PM EDT

* at 852 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Some locations have already received over 1 inch of rain, with
additional heavy rain on the way.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Paoli, Orleans, French Lick, Stampers Creek, Orangeville, West
Baden Springs, Bromer, Woodlawn Grove, Trotter Crossing and
Braxtons Siding.

Additional rainfall of 1 inch or more is expected over the area.
This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
