Special Statement
Issued: 4:07 PM PDT Mar. 28, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Another round of heavy rain tonight into Wednesday will lead
to an increased threat of landslides in western Washington...

Much of the western Washington lowlands will receive another half
to one inch of additional rainfall by Wednesday morning. This will
nearly double the amount of rain that fell since last evening. Soils
remain unusually saturated for late March. More rain falling onto
saturated soil will further elevate the risk of landslides across
the western Washington lowlands through Wednesday.

For current information, visit www.Weather.Gov/Seattle
select hydrology, and then scroll down for the links to the
landslide information pages.
