The Flood Warning continues for
the Kankakee River at Shelby.
* Until Thursday morning.
* At 845 PM Monday the stage was 9.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 9.7 feet by early
Tuesday. The river will fall below flood stage early Thursday
morning.
* Impact... at 10.0 feet... flooding affects County and local roads.
Wildwood Estates and Sumava Resorts begin to experience some
flooding.
