... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until noon PST today...

* timing... snow will decrease in the central and southern Cascades
later this morning.

* Snow amounts... another 2 to 8 inches of snow is expected this
morning.

* Snow levels... 2000 to 2500 feet lowering to near 1000 feet in
the afternoon.

* Impacts... hazardous driving conditions such as slippery roadways
and very poor visibility at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow
are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an
emergency. If you must travel... keep an extra flashlight... food...
and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
