Special Weather Statement
Issued: Environment Canada
Special Weather Statement issued by Environment. 06:04 PM EDT Saturday 23 September 2017.
Fall is just starting and mainly sunny, hot and humid conditions will continue over several regions of Southwestern and Central Quebec Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, with highs near 30 degrees and humidex values near 36 to 39.

Temperatures will therefore soar well above seasonal values of 15 to 18 degrees during the day and 5 to 9 degrees during the night for these areas. It is expected that records will be established in several localities.

A return to seasonal values are only expected by the end of next week.

Reorganize or plan your daily outdoor activities during cooler periods of the day.

Diminish the health risks for your young children and other vulnerable people by making sure to make them cool down often, keep them well hydrated and reduce their exposure to heat.
