Issued: 4:37 PM EST Jan. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Patchy freezing drizzle possible overnight followed by snow on
Wednesday...

Patchy freezing drizzle is expected to develop overnight, mainly
across eastern Upper Michigan. The freezing drizzle may result in
a light glaze of ice accumulation in some locations by daybreak
Wednesday.

Snow will overspread all of northern Michigan from southwest to
northeast Wednesday morning, mixing with some rain during the
afternoon hours. An inch or two of wet snow accumulation with
locally higher amounts will be possible by Wednesday evening,
mainly across northern lower Michigan. As a result, both the
morning and evening commutes may be impacted by some slick roads.
Snow will continue into Wednesday night with additional
accumulation expected.
