... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 2 PM this afternoon to
11 am MST Monday for Bitterroot valley and Missoula...

The National Weather Service in Missoula has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow... which is in effect
from 2 PM this afternoon to 11 am MST Monday. The Winter Storm
Watch is no longer in effect.

The National Weather Service in Missoula has continued the Winter
Storm Watch... which is in effect from Sunday afternoon through
Monday morning.

* Impacts/timing: light snow is expected this afternoon, but not
expected to create much of an impact until this evening when the
cold front pushes through. The worst conditions are expected to
occur between 4pm and 8pm this evening. Interstate 90 from
Frenchtown to East Missoula will see the worst conditions. The
Monday morning commute could be quite slick through the
Missoula and Bitterroot valleys.

* Snow accumulations this evening through Monday morning: 1 to 4
inches. The mountain slopes just above the valleys will be on
the higher end of this range.


* Winds: gusty west northwest winds 0f 20 to 30 miles per hour
with the cold front this evening.
