Issued: 5:25 AM EDT Jul. 22, 2017 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* flood advisory for...
Hardin County in west central Ohio...
Auglaize County in west central Ohio...

* until 830 am EDT.

* At 524 am EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain had
produced over an inch of rain in an hour with another inch
possible with additional storms.

* Minor flooding of low-lying and poorly drained streets, highways
and underpasses will occur. In addition, farmland near creeks,
streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding.

Some locations that will experience minor flooding include...
Wapakoneta, Kenton, Ada, Fort Shawnee, Cridersville, New Knoxville,
Alger, Waynesfield, Moulton, Blanchard, Roundhead, Mount Victory,
McGuffey, Buckland, Uniopolis, Patterson, Fryburg, Huntersville,
Pfeiffer and State Route 195 at State Route 235.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
