Watches & Warnings

Flash Flood Watch
Issued: 4:44 AM EDT Jul. 23, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 11 am EDT this
morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of southeast Indiana, Kentucky, and southwest Ohio,
including the following areas, in southeast Indiana, Dearborn,
Ohio, Ripley, and Switzerland. In Kentucky, Boone, Bracken,
Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason,
Owen, Pendleton, and Robertson. In southwest Ohio, Adams,
Brown, Clermont, Hamilton, and Scioto.

* Until 11 am EDT this morning

* showers and thunderstorms will continue to move across the Flash
Flood Watch area this morning. Several inches of rain have
already fallen across portions of the watch area with additional
rainfall expected early this morning and then again this
afternoon. With saturated ground from overnight rainfall, any
additional rain will lead to additional flooding concerns.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

People in the watch area should keep an eye on the weather and be
prepared for immediate action should heavy rains and flooding
occur or a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Avoid low-lying areas,
and be careful when approaching Highway dips and underpasses.
