Special Statement
Issued: 9:15 PM EDT Apr. 26, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Locally dense fog over portions of eastern Upper Michigan...

The combination of a moist southerly flow off Lake Michigan and the
recent rainfall from Wednesday afternoon has led to the formation
of locally dense fog this evening especially along Lake Michigan
and the Bay of Green Bay and along the Seney stretch portion of
Highway M-28.

The fog is expected to continue into the early overnight but then
should dissipate late tonight with the arrival of steady rainfall
from the south.

Motorists over eastern and southeastern Upper Michigan are urged
to slow down tonight and allow extra braking distance when
encountering areas of dense fog.
