... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 11 am EDT /10 am
CDT/ Friday...

Hazardous weather...

* periods of freezing rain are expected to develop tonight and
   push east throughout the overnight hours. At times freezing
   rain may mix with sleet and rain.

* The greatest accumulations expected across central portions
   of Upper Michigan, with a tenth to a quarter of an inch
   possible, especially across the higher terrain. Across the
   east, around or less than a tenth of an inch of ice
   accumulations is expected.

Impacts...

* expect hazardous driving conditions with ice accumulations on
   roadways, especially untreated roads and bridges.

* Ice accumulations are also expected on elevated surfaces, such
   as trees and powerlines.
