... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 6 PM this evening to
6 PM MST Monday...

The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and slick roads which is in effect from
6 PM this evening to 6 PM MST Monday.

* Impacts... rain transitioning to snow and rapidly falling
temperatures... will cause slick roads and poor travel
conditions.

* Timing... tonight through Monday.

* Snow accumulation... 2 to 3 inches of snow is expected. Narrow
bands of snow developing on Monday afternoon may produce locally
higher amounts.

* Slick roads... rain/snow mix will begin late this evening transitioning
to accumulating snow tonight. Temps will fall into the teens and
20s by Monday morning causing icy roads.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory can be issued for a variety of winter
weather conditions such as light snow... blowing snow... sleet...
freezing rain... and extreme wind chills.
