... Winter Storm Warning now in effect until noon MST Friday...

The Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow is now in effect until
noon MST Friday.

* Impacts... poor travel conditions due to snow covered roads and
limited visibility. Severe winter conditions will make outdoor
recreation in the high country difficult to dangerous at
times.

* Timing... tonight through Friday morning.

* Snow accumulation... 10 to 16 inches, greatest along northeast
facing slopes. The mountains around Cooke City will receive
much less snowfall.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means a significant amount of snow is
expected or occurring. This will make travel very hazardous or
impossible.
