... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 4 PM this afternoon to
2 PM PST Monday for the South Washington and the north Oregon
Cascades...


The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 4 PM this
afternoon to 2 PM PST Monday.

* Timing... snow begins late this afternoon and will persist
through Sunday afternoon. The snow will be heaviest between 2am
and 10 am Sunday morning.

* Snow levels... 2500 to 3000 feet.

* Accumulation... an additional 5 to 10 inches.

* Impacts... snow covered roads will make travel difficult.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
