... Winter Storm Warning in effect from midnight tonight to 3 PM
EST Friday...

The National Weather Service in Gaylord has issued a Winter Storm
Warning... which is in effect from midnight tonight to 3 PM EST
Friday. The Winter Weather Advisory is no longer in effect.

* Snow showers will increase in coverage tonight and continue
through Friday afternoon. Snow bands will be shifting from
southwest to northwest later tonight into the day Thursday.

* The heaviest snowfall rates will occur Thursday through Thursday
night.

* Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches are expected through
Friday afternoon.

* Look for significant reductions in visibility at times.

* Plan on difficult driving conditions... including during the
evening commute on Thursday.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
