... Winter Storm Watch in effect from late Saturday night through
Sunday evening...

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Winter Storm
Watch for the west central and Boise Mountains... which is in
effect from late Saturday night through Sunday evening.

* Snow amounts... 5 to 9 inches between 5000-7000 ft msl and 9 to
13 inches above 7000 ft msl.

* Winds... southwest about 12 mph or less. Stronger winds along
ridgetops.

* Timing... snowfall will begin early Sunday morning with the bulk
of the accumulation expected to occur Sunday afternoon and
evening.

* Impacts... snow may accumulate on roads creating a travel
hazard... .including Highway 55 and Highway 21.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow... sleet... or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
