Special Weather Statement
Issued: Environment Canada
Special Weather Statement issued by Environment. 12:12 PM EDT Monday 29 May 2017.
Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and large hail.

Severe thunderstorms are possible until later this evening.

Main threats are damaging wind gusts near 90 km/h and hail.

###

Strong wind gusts can toss loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn large vehicles. Locally heavy rain is also possible. Intense lightning is likely with any thunderstorm that develops. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to ec.cpio-tempetes-ospc-storms.ec@canada.ca or tweet reports using #ONStorm.
