Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 4:28 AM CST Jan. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 9 PM this evening to
6 PM CST Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 9 PM this
evening to 6 PM CST Wednesday.

* Periods of snow are expected to spread north across the area
between 9 PM and 2 am tonight... then continue through
Wednesday.

* The heaviest snowfall rates are later tonight into Wednesday
morning.

* Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches are expected... with
the lower amounts north of Highway 29 and the higher amounts
south of Highway 10.

* Difficult driving conditions... especially by later tonight and
for Wednesday morning... partly due to the wet nature of the
expected snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means periods of snow and sleet will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
The latest Road conditions for the state you are calling from can
