... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM EST this
evening...

* locations... Eastern Lake Ontario region.

* Timing... through early this evening.

* Hazards... freezing rain across Jefferson and Lewis counties
changing to wet snow. Otherwise wet snow for northern Cayuga
and Oswego.

* Accumulations... additional ice accumulations up to one tenth of
an inch this morning before changing to wet snow. Otherwise wet
snow accumulating an inch or less today.

* Impacts... freezing rain and wet snow will result in slushy and
very slick travel conditions on untreated surfaces.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory is normally issued for a variety of
winter weather conditions such as light snow... blowing snow...
sleet... freezing rain and wind chills. While the weather will be
significant... the word advisory implies that severe winter
