... Flood Watch remains in effect through late tonight...

The Flood Watch continues for

* a portion of southwest Oregon, including the following areas,
central Douglas County, Curry County coast, eastern Curry
County and Josephine County, and south central Oregon coast.

* Through late tonight

* the heaviest rain will occur along the South Coast and Coast
Range.

* Heavy rain combined with snow melt may cause small streams to
flood. Some roads may become flooded near streams.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.





High Wind Warning
Issued: 2:39 AM PST Feb. 20, 2017 – National Weather Service

... High Wind Warning remains in effect until 1 PM PST this
afternoon...

* winds: south 40 to 45 mph with gusts to 65 mph. Winds will be
stronger at headlands and other exposed areas.

* Locations include: Brookings, Bandon, Gold Beach, Port Orford,
Coos Bay, Charleston, and Highway 101.

* Impacts... travel may become difficult on area roadways due to
strong winds and driving rain. Power outages and tree damage
are possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage. Travel will be
impacted, especially for high profile vehicles.
