Special Statement
Issued: 7:14 AM CDT Sep. 27, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Areas of dense fog to persist through 8 am or 9 am CDT this
morning...

Areas of dense fog have formed over the region early
today... especially as one heads toward the Kentucky/Tennessee
border. Visibilities in some cases have fallen to near zero. The
fog will likely persist until the sun can burn it off between 8
and 9 am this morning.

Motorists should be prepared for rapidly reduced visibilities to
less than a quarter mile in a very short distance. Slow down and
allow some extra time to reach your destination this morning.
