Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 12:32 AM MST Dec. 4, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 5 am early this
morning to noon MST Monday...

* timing... light snow across western Wyoming this morning will
give way to increasing snowfall by mid day. Moderate to heavy
snow is expected by this evening... lasting overnight into early
Monday morning before decreasing in intensity through the rest
of the morning hours...

* total snowfall... possible 6 to 12 inches in the Wind River
mountains with 2 to 6 inches from Pinedale to Bondurant.

* Wind and visibility... west to southwest wind increasing to 15 to
25 mph with gusts 35 mph by this afternoon may cause areas of
blowing and drifting snow... with visibility limited to one half
mile or less at times on South Pass.

* Impacts... roads may become slick... slushy and snow packed with
limited visibility at times. People planning outdoor
activities should be prepared for adverse winter weather
conditions and take the proper precautions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means periods
of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for
snow covered and slick roads with limited visibilities. Slow
down... and allow extra time to reach your destination. Check the
latest Road conditions at wyoroad.Info or by dialing 5 1 1.
