... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon CST
today...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon CST today.

* Timing... an initial band of light mixed precipitation will fall
from near Madison to Kenosha by sunrise as it heads north. The
main area of precipitation arrives by late morning through the
evening. There will be a period of freezing rain before becoming
mainly rain this afternoon. Some freezing rain still is
possible inland, especially north and west of Milwaukee early
this afternoon.

* Ice and snow accumulations... total ice accumulations of a
light glaze up to a few hundreths of an inch. Snow and sleet
accumulations less than one half inch.

* Impacts... slippery conditions on sidewalks... roads and bridges.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
