... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 10 PM this evening to
10 am PST Saturday...

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 10 PM this
evening to 10 am PST Saturday.

* Snow accumulations... 3 to 5 inches.

* Winds... southwest winds 10 to 15 mph.

* Timing... snow will increase late evening with snow levels
dropping to 5000 feet. Snow levels will drop to around 400 feet
after midnight with snow rates increasing also. Heaviest snow
rates will be from 1 am to 6 am and decrease through the
morning.

* Locations include... Highway 97 near Chemult... Highway 140 east
of Bly... the winter rim and the Warners.

* Impacts... snow may be heavy at times... reducing visibilities.
