... Winter Storm Watch now in effect from Wednesday afternoon
through Thursday afternoon...

* snow amounts... potential 4 to 8 at lower elevations and up to a
foot in the mountains.

* Snow levels... rising to 5500 feet Wednesday afternoon and
night... then lowering to valley floors Thursday.

* Winds... east 10 to 15 mph... expect northeast 15 to 30 mph near
Jerome.

* Timing... snow will begin Wednesday morning then change to rain
below 5500 feet msl late Wednesday and Wednesday night before
changing back to snow Thursday.

* Impacts... travel hazard due to snow-covered roads.
