northern Massachusetts.

* Hazard types... include snow and freezing rain.

* Accumulations... up to an inch of snow along with around a trace
of ice.

* Timing... till 10 am this morning.

* Impacts... wintry precipitation will likely result in hazardous
travel conditions on untreated roads... especially bridges... and
overpasses. Parking lots and sidewalks will become slippery as
well.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
