... Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect from 4 am to noon EST
Tuesday...

* locations... in central New York, Onondaga, Madison, Cortland,
Chenango, and Broome counties. In northeast Pennsylvania,
Susquehanna, Wayne, Wyoming, Lackawanna, Luzerne and Pike
counties.

* Hazard types... freezing rain.

* Ice accumulations... less than a tenth of an inch.

* Timing... an area of light freezing rain or freezing drizzle will
overspread the region late tonight. Temperatures will slowly
rise above freezing late Tuesday morning, with at least patches
of light freezing rain expected to continue through about 12
noon, particularly over the higher terrain.

* Impacts... ice accumulations may create slippery Road
conditions.

* Winds... southeast 5 mph or less.

* Temperatures... in the lower 30s.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
