Issued: 7:08 PM MST Feb. 22, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 6 am CST /5 am
MST/ Thursday to 6 PM CST /5 PM MST/ Friday...

* expect snow to develop Thursday morning and then diminish later
Friday afternoon.

* The heaviest snowfall rates will occur late Thursday afternoon
and evening.

* Total snow accumulations of 8 to 18 inches are expected. The
heaviest amounts will be along the Highway 20 corridor west of
Ainsworth.

* Expect significant reductions in visibility. Near blizzard
conditions could develop Thursday night into Friday.

* North winds of 15 to 30 mph with higher gusts will cause
significant blowing and drifting snow.

* Travel will be very difficult to impossible. Ranchers should
take precautions to protect Young livestock.
