Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 11:16 PM CST Jan. 20, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 9 am CST Saturday...

The National Weather Service in Omaha/valley has issued a dense
fog advisory... which is in effect until 9 am CST Saturday.

* Visibility... visibilities are expected to drop to a quarter
mile or less at most locations overnight. Some improvement in
the visibility will occur as scattered showers roll across the
region... but should decrease again outside of rain areas.

* Impacts... drivers are encouraged to slow down and allow extra
time to reach destinations.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
