Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 12:55 PM MST Feb. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 11 PM this evening to
5 PM MST Saturday...

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for blowing snow, which is in effect from 11 PM
this evening to 5 PM MST Saturday.

* Timing... 11 PM tonight through 5pm Saturday

* winds/visibility... west winds of 25 to 35 mph sustained with
gusts to 40 to 45 mph. Visibilities reduced under a half mile at
times.

* Impacts... mainly to transportation interests. Travel may become
difficult in blowing and drifting snow, slick roads and poor
visibilities.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to strong winds blowing snow
around. Use caution when traveling... especially in open areas.
