... Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 6 am MST Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect until 6 am MST
Wednesday.

* Timing... 6 PM this evening to 9 am Wednesday morning.

* Total snow accumulations... 2 to 4 inches in the valleys with 4
to 8 inches in the Snowy Range.

* Winds/visibility... northeast 10 to 20 mph with occasional gusts
around 30 mph. Visibilities falling between one half mile to one
mile at times in falling snow and patchy blowing snow near
Arlington.

* Impacts... mainly travel difficulties. Light to moderate snow
will create periods of hazardous travel conditions due to low
visibilities and slick roads.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
