... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 10 am MDT this morning...

* affected area... the eastern bench areas of the northern
Wasatch front.

* Winds... east winds of 20 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 45
mph. The strongest winds are expected in the Layton area south
through Farmington and Centerville areas.

* Timing... easterly winds will strengthen late tonight, then peak
early this morning. Winds are expected to diminish mid-morning.

* Impacts... strong Crosswinds on I-15 in the Centerville and
Farmington areas, and on US 89 on the Layton bench.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained wind speeds of at least
31 mph or gusts of 45 mph are expected. Motorists in the advisory
area should be prepared for sudden gusty cross winds which can
make driving difficult.
