Watches & Warnings

Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 6:23 AM EST Feb. 20, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory remains in effect until 10 am EST this
morning...

* widespread dense fog will continue through mid to late morning,
before dissipating between 9 and 10 am.

* Visibilities will remain below one quarter of a mile. This will
impact the I-64 corridor along with a portion of the mountain
parkway.

* Those venturing out will need to allow extra time to reach their
destination. This will include those heading for work or school.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
