Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 10:29 PM EST Feb. 19, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am EST Monday...

The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a dense fog
advisory, which is in effect until 10 am EST Monday.

* Widespread dense fog will develop overnight and last through
daybreak Monday, before burning off between 9 and 10 am.

* Visibilities will fall under a quarter of a mile. This will
impact the I-64 corridor along with a portion of the mountain
parkway.

* Those venturing out overnight or early Monday morning will need
to allow extra time to reach their destination. This will
include those heading for work or school.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
