... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 10 PM MST this
evening...

* affected area... the Salt Lake and Tooele valleys.

* Snow accumulations... 1-3 inches with locally higher amounts on
the benches.

* Timing... snow will remain heavy at times into this evening
before tapering.

* Impacts... snowfall is expected to impact the evening commute
across the Salt Lake Metro area and Tooele Valley. Area roadways
will continue to see accumulating snowfall into this evening.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that snow accumulations
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads. Use caution while driving.
