morning for the following areas

Madison Marion rush

In east central Indiana

Delaware Henry Randolph

This includes the cities of Anderson, Indianapolis, Muncie,

northeastern Hendricks... Marion... eastern Boone and Hamilton counties
until 500 am EDT...

At 344 am EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles east of Lebanon, or 18 miles southeast of Frankfort, moving
southeast at 35 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Indianapolis, Anderson, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Lawrence,
Brownsburg, Greenfield, Lebanon, Beech Grove, Zionsville, Speedway,
Southport, Westfield, Cumberland, McCordsville, Pendleton, Fortville,
Whitestown and Sheridan.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
