... A line of strong thunderstorms will affect southwestern
Leake... Rankin... northwestern Smith... western Scott... southeastern
Hinds and eastern Madison counties until 700 am CDT...

At 612 am CDT, meteorologists were tracking strong thunderstorms
along a line extending from near Camden to near whites. Movement was
east at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Camden, Cameron and Farmhaven around 615 am CDT.
Cato around 640 am CDT.
Carthage and Johns around 645 am CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Polkville, Lena,
Redwater and Puckett.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious
injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors
during such strong winds... and be especially aware of older trees.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
