... Heat advisory remains in effect from 10 am this morning to
7 PM CDT this evening...

* temperature... highs in the mid 90s combined with high humidity will
result in heat indices between 105 and 110 Wednesday afternoon.

* Impacts... heat stress will reach dangerous levels and could
lead to heat exhaustion or heat stroke for those working
outdoors.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Take extra precautions... if you work or spend time outside. When
possible... reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or
evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat
stroke. Wear light weight and loose fitting clothing when
possible and drink plenty of water.
