... High Wind Warning is cancelled...

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect until 800 PM this evening. The High
Wind Warning has been cancelled.

* Winds... northeast 20 to 30 mph with gusts up around 45 mph.

* Timing... the winds are expected to diminish gradually tonight.

* Impacts... strong winds will down some tree limbs... trees... and
power lines... resulting in some power outages. Travel can be
difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. The
strongest winds tend to be on elevated surfaces such as
bridges and overpasses.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that very windy conditions are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Light-weight outdoor objects
such as patio furniture and garbage cans should be secured.

... Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 am EST Tuesday...

* location... the coastal waters of central New Jersey.

* Winds... northeast 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 55 kt.

* Seas... 16 to 21 feet.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Storm Warning means winds of 48 to 63 knots are imminent or
occurring. Recreational boaters should remain in port... or take
shelter until winds and waves subside. Commercial vessels should
prepare for very strong winds and dangerous sea conditions... and
consider remaining in port or taking shelter in port until winds
and waves subside.
