The Flood Warning continues for
the Missouri River at Sibley.
* Until Wednesday evening.
* At 12:18 PM Monday the stage was 23.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
Tuesday evening.
* At 22.0 feet... low-lying rural areas along the river and outside of
levee protection flood.

... Significant weather advisory for southeastern Clay... southwestern
ray... west central Lafayette and central Jackson counties until 500
PM CDT...

At 432 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Orrick to Mission Hills. Movement was
northeast at 25 mph.

Dime size hail will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Kansas City, Independence, Lee's Summit, Blue Springs, Leawood,
Raytown, Liberty, Prairie Village, Excelsior Springs, North Kansas
City, Mission Hills, Sugar Creek, Buckner, Westwood, Claycomo,
Courtney, Orrick, Wellington, Lake Tapawingo and Westwood Hills.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 2 and 19.
Interstate 35 in Missouri between mile markers 0 and 4.
Interstate 35 in Kansas near mile marker 235.
Interstate 470 near mile marker 0, and between mile markers 14 and
16.
Interstate 435 between mile markers 54 and 75.
